Overview:
We are looking for an ambitious and diligent Technical Product Manager to join our Product Team in Uppsala, Sweden. The successful candidate will have a unique opportunity to play a pivotal role in shaping the future of the business. From being responsible for articulating and evolving the vision for the product, to maintaining and communicating the product roadmap. This role will require excellent communication skills, an understanding of APIs, and excellent attention to detail. Reporting directly to the CTO, this role will provide an opportunity to learn, grow, develop, and leave a mark.
Please note, the role can either be on site in the Uppsala office or hybrid, working in the office 2-3 days per week. Travelling to Bristol, UK on a quarterly basis will also be required.
Requirements:
- Managing the Roadmap: Coordinating, informing and information gathering to/ from all of the key stakeholders, internal and external.
- Sprint planning: Prioritising, preparing and presenting epics, ensuring that all prerequisites are met. Approving API & UI changes, API & DB changes review, final review.
- Feature Launches: Coordinate all processes, and create key informative material alongside key stakeholders
- Customers: Plan & project manage implementation projects with customers. Support account managers in presenting roadmap and gathering ideas directly from customers
- Decision Making: Outlining development prioritisation within the scope of the roadmap and defining what to build in each sprint
- Communication: Quarterly updates for management. Participation in business reviews with customers. Ongoing coordination with key internal stakeholders (Account managers, Sales, Support, Onboarding, Operations). Acting as the communication link to the development team on all product questions.
Those decisions shall align with the overall directions given by the COO & CTO during the product meetings
To be successful in this role you will be/ have:
- 2-3 years experience in Payments / FinTech / Financial Services as a Software Developer, Project or Product Manager
- Have a technical education, as well as a broad set of expertise and experience on technical matters
- Strong grasp of the working English language
- A basic understanding of web APIs
- First-class project management and time management skills
- Scrum
- A highly structured & organised individual
- Excellent communication skills, both spoken and written
- The ability to prioritise and make hard decisions
- A genuine interest in programming
