As the year draws to a close, we at Pax2pay are taking a moment to reflect on what has been a truly remarkable year. Thanks to the trust and support of our customers, partners, and the wider travel industry, we’ve achieved incredible milestones and made significant strides in revolutionising payments for travel businesses. Here are just a few of the highlights:
Expanding Our Presence Across Europe
This year, we’ve had the privilege of participating in numerous events around the world as sponsors, delegates and exhibitors. From major conferences to intimate industry gatherings, we’ve had countless opportunities to share more about our innovative virtual card technology, connect with new and familiar faces, and gain invaluable insights into the future of travel and fintech. Being part of these vibrant communities has not only enhanced our but also deepened our understanding of how we can better serve you.
Taking the Stage
We’ve also had the honour of contributing to key industry conversations. Chief Sales Officer, Tony Hart represented Pax2pay on expert panels at some of this year’s most significant travel events, including Travel Tech Show to Travel Centres. From the importance of localised payment methods to enhancing payments security – no stone was left unturned during these sessions. But one key theme was evident throughout – the importance of optimising payments to OTAs success. It’s been rewarding to see our shared experience and expertise, translated into actionable insight within the space, helping the community.
Recognition for Our Innovative Technology
Our efforts to push the boundaries of payment solutions have not gone unnoticed. Pax2pay has been recognised in multiple award categories this year, including winning the prestigious ‘Best Business Payments System For The Travel Industry’ at the PayTech Awards, and being named as one of ‘The Most Exciting Companies’ by Insider Media.
While we’re incredibly proud of these accolades, they pale in comparison to the positive feedback we’ve received from our customers. Your success stories and continued trust are the ultimate validation of our work.
Forging Strategic Partnerships
This year marked a milestone in our journey with the announcement of our partnership with Diners Club International. Selected as a key issuing partner in the United Kingdom, our virtual card solution means that Diners Club International can offer virtual cards specifically designed for travel-related transactions, optimising costs and improving acceptance rates for its users.
Matt Sloan, Vice President of Business Development EMEA, Diners Club International had this to say:
“Working with Pax2pay marks a new chapter for Diners Club International as we continue to grow in the travel sector. We believe that together with Pax2pay, we can offer our customers even greater value and convenience, helping them to manage their travel expenses with ease.”
Our Team has expanded, both in size and location
We were thrilled to welcome Torsten Gros to the Pax2pay Family. Torsten joined us as the new Managing Director of Pax2pay UAB, bringing with him a wealth of experience across the Travel and Payments space. This strategic appointment marked a significant milestone in our expansion strategy, coinciding with the opening of our new office in Lithuania and our commitment to expanding our presence across the European Economic Area.
Looking Ahead
It’s been a busy year. And none of the milestones we have reached this year would have been possible without you, our customers, partners, and supporters. Your feedback and aspirations drive us to innovate and deliver the best solutions possible. As we look forward to the year ahead, we’re excited to continue building on these achievements, exploring new opportunities, and strengthening our relationship with you.
From all of us at Pax2pay, thank you for your unwavering support. Here’s to another year of growth, collaboration, and shared success. We can’t wait to see what 2025 holds!
