We’re pleased to share that Pax2Pay has officially joined the Polish Chamber of Tourism (PIT).
PIT is the largest tourism industry organisation in Poland, representing around 500 member businesses across the country. Founded to support and promote the growth of Polish tourism, the Chamber works closely with government bodies including the Ministry of Sport and Tourism, and has been a full member of ECTAA, the European Travel Agents’ and Tour Operators’ Associations, since 2004.
Poland’s travel market is growing fast, and we want to grow with it. As a PIT member, we’re backing Polish travel businesses with smarter, faster payment technology, and contributing to the digital development of the sector – not just in Poland, but across the wider CEE region.
Our First Assembly as a Member
On 15 May 2026, we attended PIT’s XXXVIII Annual Assembly – our first as an official member. It was a chance to sit in the same room as the people actually shaping Polish tourism: travel agencies and tour operators, technology partners, ambassadors from Turkey, Egypt, Cyprus, and Cuba, and representatives from the Ministry of Sport and Tourism and the Polish Tourism Organisation.
Solving payment complexity in travel only works when you’re close to the people who deal with it every day. That room was exactly that. We believe the best progress happens when technology and travel expertise work side by side, and PIT is exactly the right place to do that.
